How long does it take to actually start fishing? Most people associate Big Game Fishing with long trips offshore, but in the case of Madeira the opposite applies. Because of the very deep waters surrounding the island hook-ups are quite common close to shore, so, less than ten minutes out of the harbour the lures wil be in the water and your experience will have begun.
